Meet: Beth Edwards & Courtney List

    Beth Edwards

    Senior Property Manager, McCaffery:
Strip District Terminal and 1600 Smallman

How long have you held this position?
    A little over a year.

Have you held similar positions prior to that at McCaffery?
Yes. I’ve managed a shopping mall and mixed-use project in Pittsburgh prior to working for McCaffery.

    Are you a Pittsburgher?
No, I’m originally from Ohio. I’ve lived in Pittsburgh for 20 years.

Is there anything you’d like to see added to the Strip?
The most requested addition I hear about from neighbors is a pharmacy that also offers convenience-store items.

What do you admire most in a person?
I admire a sense of humor and ability to make people smile and laugh.

What is your favorite vacation location, and why?
Any place warm and sunny—too many gray and cold days in Pittsburgh. I am currently planning a dream vacation to the Galapagos Islands in 2023.

How about a person you’d like to have dinner with?
    Jimmy Fallon.

Is there a movie you’ve seen more than once?
Doesn’t everyone watch National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation every holiday?

    Thank you!

    Courtney List

    Senior Property Manager, McCaffery:
Strip District Terminal and 1600 Smallman

How long have held your position with McCaffery?
I celebrated one year with McCaffery in February.

What is the best part of your job?
Working with our wonderful tenants and the Strip District community to bring people together at this beautiful property.

What attracts out-of-town business owners to The Terminal?
I believe it’s the energy and vitality of the Strip District!

If you could live in a movie, what movie would it be?
If I were to live in a movie, it would be Frozen. My younger sister, Danielle, and I are best friends, and Frozen is our favorite movie to watch together. If I could spend every day singing the Frozen soundtrack with her, life would be great.

    Where did you grow up?
I grew up in McKeesport, which is about 25 minutes outside of the city. I have lived in the City of Pittsburgh for the last five years.

As a child, you wanted to be …?
Growing up, I wanted to be a fashion designer. I would sketch designs and loved watching award-show red carpets.

Is there a famous person you admire the most, and why?
As a former athlete myself, I admire Serena Williams for carving the way for women in sports.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
I am a born and raised Yinzer, but if I ever decided to move, it would be to a warmer city. The idea of not cleaning snow off my car sounds very appealing.

    What is your pet peeve?
My Pittsburgh pet peeve is all the potholes!

    Thank you!
