I have been studying art for over 15 years. I began oil painting in college (Edinboro University), where I quickly fell in love with landscape and plein-air painting. There is something special about the connection painters develop with their surroundings when they are routinely practicing plein-air painting. Through utilizing this process, I have learned to reflect not only my physical surroundings but also my personal experiences, which often are expressed through my use of enhanced colors and bold brush strokes.
I have been selling my art professionally since 2021. Residing in Dormont with my wife, Ana, and our two children, I am currently working with several galleries, most notably Concept in Regent Square. This year I will participate in several festivals and markets: the Pittsburgh Center for Arts Spring and Winter Artist Market in April and December; the 3 Rivers Arts Festival in June; Fair in the Park in September; and the Mount Lebanon Artist Market in October.
